Flying to UK as international student or visitor for a business trip for a short or long term require a reliable place to stay most of students I know they depend on their family or friends living in Abroad already this idea may be OK for some however it may cause or have been caused a big problem to so many students I know.Therefore I always emphasize to my friends those plan to travel abroad that arrange a decent cheap room, in inexpensive but reliable hotel, hostel, or rent a shared room with other in a house or flat before arrival and do not depend only friends and family. In my own experienced when i arrived first time in London I made the same mistake and relied on a friend who knows a friend in London and promised my friend that he will pick up his friend that was me :) however upon arrival from BAHRAIN Airport to London Heathrow AIRPORT The friend of my friend no where to be seen to receive me, After waiting for almost an hour on the airport I decided to not to take underground, Subway train as in USA and ended up taking a taxi or as cab we say in the United kingdom that cost  me £50.00 which was lot of money about ten years ago. Now a days when the Internet is fast and most of the rental property, hostel, hotels or shared properties can be book online you should search online and book a reliable hostel, or hotel, or shared accommodation For example in UK famous directory for property search specially sharing house, flat is www.Gumtree.com

 Find a room, Find a cheap place to stay in UK try this websites at your home country as they may have regional offices at your home country and you will be able to book a cheap accommodation once you are safely arrived in UK then you can move to other shared accommodation easily. This method is way better to just depend on a friend of friends
